BioBorn in California, had a great childhood with my fabulous brother & unconditionally loving parents. Spent high school as a fundy, then college at Harvey Mudd, U of Waterloo, and finally graduating from U of Victoria B.Sc. Biology & Geography. Back down to CA, worked in biotech a bit (cloned the xanthan gum pathway), then over to software development in C for libraries. Then Powerbuilder & Oracle. Mum died so lost interest in work for a while. Then hired on to the military-industrial complex as a DBA, then promoted to management. Along the way lots of extracurricular activities; Morris dancing, drum circles, samba, improvisational comedy, lots of reading (mostly sci-fi), travel. Love plants, music, color vision, hot running water, massage, conversations with smart people, chocolate, summer fruit.
